Last week was a great week!!  We had a houseful of people....but amazingly enough...the week was very  laid back!  Katey and her friend absolutely hated Orlando so came to visit a day early, on Thursday.  Nick's daughter and 2 yr old granddaughter (the "Mad Cow"...moo-OOO) came on Tuesday.  What fun we had!  Alot of "splish-splashing" in the pool...beach every day (well, for them.....I had to work)...and LOADS of laughing!!  I miss them all!!

Anyway, Friday evening (a week ago), Katey, her friend, Robb, and I went to the Venice Pier.  I promised them lots of sea life would be caught (not by US of course....).  After 1/2 hr....no one had caught even bait fish!  Then....all of a sudden..this big guy was being pulled the width of the end of the pier by his rod.  After about 15 minutes, we were all hanging over the edge of the pier to see what he would pull up.  Imagine all of our surprise when out came a 6' shark!!!!  It took 4 guys to pull it up.  Anyway.... everyone got pictures and videos and then they tagged and released it, unharmed.  Do I deliver on my promises, or what??  You can click on these links (shark capture and shark release )to see the videos.  It was very cool...and really exciting!
