Well...we are getting ready for what is supposed to be our first big tropical storm/hurricane since we moved here last summer!  It is all so uncertain....much more so than snow in PA.  Board up...don't board up...We are prepared...well sort of.   We have our hurricane kit...and definitely doggie traquilizers....and most...MOST...of our boards are up.....some are still sitting by the side of our house....waiting....arghhhhhhh.....way too heavy for me to handle.  But no one else here seems to be concerned.  So...if I don't put up a stink and make them get the rest up, and the winds blow them all over and do damage, I'm in trouble.  If I DO make them finish getting them up and the storm is minimal...then I am in trouble because I made them do all that work for nothing.  So either way...I'm lose.   

Anyway...a hurricane day on Tuesday...today was the first day back for the kids.  Not sure waht Wednesday will bring....surely going to the beach to go shelling, whether if school is out, or after school.
