So....today we went to the Mote Aquarium.  Well...my dog...my daughters dog...umm...my dog, is totally a mess during storms, or even with the smell of a distant storm.  When we left, it was a beautiful day....appparently it stormed while we were gone.  She jumped through the screen door and headed south.  Now, this is a dog, who has just recently been allowed off a leash at the dog park....who just recently began to be social (who says old dogs can't learn new tricks?)....and keep in mind that her worst fear....a thunderstorm is happening all around her!  Luckily, before she got hit...or eaten by a croc....a mail lady spotted her and picked her up.  She must have called animal control to trace the tag(they left me a message, and I will most likely get a fine), but kept my dog with her in the truck (which I'm SURE my dog loved because the only thing better than a ride is the cheeseburger at the end), and then returned her to our house.  Needless to say, the door needs to be fixed, a safety panel installed, and my dog is totally exhausted.  I am just glad she is home safe.....
