This is new territory for me.  The thought of putting my thoughts and experiences out for the whole world to see....well....it is pretty intimidating for me!!   But, since this has been a year of great change for me anyway, I will give it a shot.





My site says it all....my move to the gulf coast is a dream come true! I forgot to take my name off of the snow day alert from my old tv station in PA.  Today, I received yet another snow closing alert for my old schools!  Of course...I felt initial envy, because I knew all my old co-workers had a chance to roll back over, snuggle under their comforters, and go back to sleep, while I had to jump in the car for another days work.  That envy was short-lived....by 70 degree sunny weather at 7:45 am!!  YESSSSS!!!!!  Now if I could just combine the snow day off with the warm, sunny weather ... life would be perfect!!!  Oh well...I guess if I have to choose.....it's  no-brainer!





Ok...so I can't look out my window and see the waves rolling in.  But one of the best things about living here.....I can change my plans and run to the beach... even if for only an hour!  Last Saturday morning, I was out running some errands.   It was another beautifully sunny day, and every one at my house was still asleep.  I always keep my beach blanket and shell "strainer" (not sure of the correct term) in my trunk.  I just put my stops on hold, drove to Englewood Beach, and enjoyed the sun, the surf, and shelling......ahhh....to be a beach bum!!!!





Anyway....I will try to add more as the days of school wind down, and the days of summer wind closer.  Remember....."Celebrate the past....Nuture the future....Delight in the moment..."
