| Nikolas rolled over in his king size water bed and hit his alarm clock. He rubbed the sleep out of his eyes and sat up to find Helena standing in the doorway. He sighed, knowing something was up, his grandmother had that mad scientist look on her face. "Nikolas, how are you feeling this morning?" Helena asked, walking towards his desk. " I'm fine grandmother, what's going on?" " Nikolas, have you spoken to Elizabeth recently?" " Yesterday, but Lucky was with her." " Oh that's for the better Nikolas, it is, you deserve some who is much better, someone who will treat you with the respect you deserve." " What are you getting at grandmother?" " It doesn't mean anything, I just meant there are much better things out there, much more opportunities." " This doesn't sound like you at all grandmother, you've been trying to rip apart Lucky and Elizabeth for too long. I thought you were getting what you wanted, I mean Lucky still is in your posession." " Indeed, and I plan to keep him there, I just think you should move on. I'll deal with Elizabeth, she'll leave Lucky soon enough." AT LUCKY AND LIZ'S APARTMENT... Lucky felt as if someone was calling out to him, he was needed. Lucky got up from his chair and went into the bedroom, and glanced at Elixabeth sleeping soundly. " Liz, sweetie, I'm going to go visit Sonny, alright?" Lucky whispered into her ear. " Okay Lucky." Liz answered and snuggled her head back into her pillow. Lucky kissed Liz's forehead then grabbed his keys off the nightstand. He took one last look at Elizabeth, then headed toward Helena's. Helena smiled at her creation, then a laugh escaped from her thin lips. " You're perfect, Nikolas will forget all about Elizabeth when he sees you. If I have you and Lucky, working together, Elizabeth will run. She'll be gone from our lives forever." Chapter 2 |
