Tim Nicholson, (Lead Vocals & Lead Guitar)

Tim played in the Chicago area for ten years, then moved to Denver in 1984. After playing with local talent for six years, he formed Lucky Dawgs in 1990. As the lead guitarist and lead vocalist, his outstanding musical ability is a great benefit to the band and our selective and widening repertoire.

Jonny Love, (Saxophone & Keyboards)

Jonny played Saxophone in Cincinnati for many years before moving to the Denver area. Formerly was a member of the well-known local band, The Fabulous Boogienauts, and is currently performing with Pat Travis and the Marvelous Marmits, Funkiphino, as well as the Lucky Dawgs. His multi-talents truly add another dimension to our “Lucky Dawgs” sound!

Jim McLaughlin, (Bass Guitar & Backup Vocals)

Jim moved to the Denver area from Omaha in 1977. He has played bass guitar for over 20 years. He has played for a number of local bands in the Denver area. He is a great backup vocalist, an accomplished bass player, and his many years of experience greatly enhances the performing ability of Lucky Dawgs.

Mike Davis, (Drums & Backup Vocals)

Mike is originally from Tucson AZ, began playing drums at age nine, and started playing professionally at age sixteen. He has been on two South American tours with the band Voltz, and has played in the Denver area for several years. He is skilled in background vocals, and mixing sound, as well as keeping that ROCK solid meter for us Lucky Dawgs.
