The QT-2100 has been designed with a highly flexible system configuration to meet various types of hospitality market demands.  A large memory capacity (4 MB std., 8 MB max.) provides the business owner with future expansion.  It is equipped with 6 RS-232C ports to support a wide variety of peripheral devices.  Inter-register communications is available for communications between QT-2100's using LAN cable (CAT 5), which makes installation and adding terminals simple.

The QT-2100's Table Service operations include shared quest check tracking which secures table control in the restaurant through a master/backup master configuration.  Additional Table Service operations include:

• An open guest check report (global and/or by clerk) gives the current balance, the check status and a total of all checks.
• Receipt and kitchen printers can be shared from multiple terminals to optimize the system configuration.
• Backup printers can be assigned to the receipt and kitchen printers to ensure orders are properly routed.
• Separate check, add check, check transfer and clerk transfer are all available operations.
