Story points:
The action takes place in an invented Eastern European country. The son of the Indian ambassador, rake Aditya, achieves love of young Laki. The age difference makes their relations forbidden. That time a Civil war broke in the country. Laki got in trouble. Aditya should save his beloved.
Mithun Chakravarty plays Colonel Pindidas Kapoor, an intelligence guy who helps young couples from Russia to escape. It’s about a character who treats the most dangerous of situations lightly.
Grey-green eyes, fair
skinned and a lithe gait. Move over Dia Mirza, an Ash photocopy is right here.
18-year old Bandra girl, Sneha Ullal is drumming serious excitement with her
'believe-it-or-not' close resemblance to the former Miss. World. She is being
touted as Salman's discovery for his forthcoming heavyweight, Lucky - No time
for love.
This teenager studies at the National College in Mumbai. When we asked the
director duo, 'Vinay Sapru-Radhika Rao' about the gorgeous girl, they put their
hands up. “Not us, its Salman. He suggested us this girl in his sister Arpita's
college. She's his find” So how much of an actress is Sneha? we nudge. “Oh she
is fantastic. We screen tested her. And she blew us off. The girl is fire!” And
what about the uncanny similarity between Rai and Sneha? Most think of it as a
deliberate effort…”Nah…that's not the case. It's completely coincidental” Sapru
avers.
From the tight close-up of her eyes to her indianised attire to soft lens shots,
a case of a too much of a coincidence, we guess…

UNTIL nine months ago, Polish student
Patrycja Liniwicz was
enamoured by the European Union and wanted to be a politician.
Then India
happened. Now she’s one remix-music-video-old (Beri Ke Ber) and is playing Kader
Khan’s Russian daughter in the Salman Khan-starrer Lucky. And if Patrycja,
24, nabs the period film she’s shortlisted for, she will be the only heroine
with Abhishek Bachchan, Suniel Shetty and Akshay Kumar. Patrycja is all set to be
one of them. First she joined choreographer Raju Khan’s group. “My hobby is
dancing, but we’re stiffer. Indians dance with everything, even the eyes. And
you shake so much, I lost a few kilos and my neck hurt!” Then she bagged a
small part in Lucky. “Salman was so nice, though I had heard so many stories. I
speak Russian in the film and taught Kader Khan to say a few lines.”
