Welcome one and all here...

Basically, this site is an extension of what I have actually been planning to do. The idea for the atom thing struck me when I was studying Chemistry. It's really fascinating how everyday mundane things can actually be cool. Ok. So what is it exactly? Ha... here's what it is...

No such thing actually exists if you scrutinize the periodic table. Well, if you're smart enough, it's the first 2 letters of my name: Marie.

27 & 04:

Ha... the numbers 27 & 04 is my birthday... 27th April which works out to be 2704... Elementary dear Watson isn't it?

Ok.. I'm done with the explanation on that... Next up... the coloured vertical lines. So, you think they resemble the lines on your TV screen & it's utterly distasteful. Well, think again. Nope, I did not watch TV one day & just plagarised the idea. I was flipping through an outdated magazine one day and an advertisement, which was an array of colours, just struck me with this idea. Then why vertical lines & not horizontal? Well... you know how some people say that clothes with horizontal lines make you look fat? This site isn't going to be on the waiting list for Overeaters Anonymous... Doesn't sound logical? It doesn't to me either but who cares.. as long as it's pleasing to the eye.. that's all that matters.

Hmm.. the other sections just sprung out on its own... I realise that sometimes I tell jokes which I honestly do think is hilarious but the whole world just stares at me blankly. So... my definition of FUNNY differs from the rest & that results in me talking nonsense, the world not being able to comprehend the profound words I speak. Well... to simply put that in one word, it's BABBLE. Though I accept the fact that the average mortal only knows this much and just do not get my jokes, it still irks me. Well, you win some you lose some. You can't always have your cake & eat it too, right? So, I dedicate the section BABBLE to the nonsensical side of me. I believe that everyone has 2 sides: good & bad. Being nonsensical is just a sub-section of one of these 2. You decide which it should go under. I for one will categorise it under the GOOD side. Afterall, being crazy & having fun isn't going to hurt anyone is it? I'm just being myself & don't ever shoot me for that.

Aha... pronouncing my name... is it that so difficult to do so? I have encountered lots of people who just can't seem to get my name right. It's not my fault if my mother wanted to give me a French name. Yes. My name is French. Cool isn't it? Not that I'm of French descent but just having a French name just feels so good. You know what? My name is also part of an important utensil they use in the food business. It's "bain-marie" if you must know. Want to know the meaning? Well, go look it up in the dictionary but I must warn you... not all dictionaries have it ... Ok.. this section really just explores my passion. Interesting things I have done are also included in here... and these intersting things straighten out stereotypes who think that people who fiddle with the computer all day long are nerds/geeks. If there's anyone who wants to label me as a "nerd" just because I love the computer, as Bart Simpson says, Eat my shorts!

The very last section deals with my alter ego. PENG is actually my Chinese name. Unlike many others, I only have 1 character in my Chinese name. It's only in the recent years that I have come to like my Chinese name & appreciate it. Part of this credit should be given to my dear school which forces us to pin on name tags which have to contain our full registered names. With my name tag which has "LEE PENG MARIE" on, I've come to realise that it might actually be cool if my first name was Peng and not Marie. The alter ego thing of mine has be on like 5 years ago and now I can actually officially give it a name. It has always be my nickname on ICQ but it will no longer be...
