"Touch the Stars" - Breanna Hogue

Her eyelashes flutter,
She takes a deep breath,
Closes her eyes,
And dreams in depth.
She soars like a bird,
Through the clouds and beyond,
She can almost touch the heavens,
She's as graceful as a swan.



She opens her eyes,
A smile on her face,
Never could she imagine,
Such a glorious place.
She wants to fly again,
She wants to touch the stars,
But it was time to go home,
And return to her mother's arms.
