The feeling that you get,
When your lover doesn’t feel the same,
When you are rejected,
When the team loses every game.
The feeling that you get,
When your mother dies,
When the rains fall,
No more sunny summer skies.
The feeling that you get,
When you see a child mourn,
When you can’t save a life,
When a mother kills a child unborn.
The feeling that you get,
When your dreams are broken,
When your life is just horrible,
When you can’t erase words spoken…
Just know – there is a hope in life.
