| Lucinda Dickey is the spritely Kelly, a waitress and jazz dancer who starts popping, locking and breaking her way to fame in Breakin'. Prior to Breakin' Lucinda had her first starring role in Ninja III: The Domination, in which she played a young woman possessed by the evil spirit of a ninja assassin. A professional dancer, Lucinda was first featured in Grease 2, and has appeared as a regular dancer on television's Solid Gold. She also appeared in the comedy horror slasher movie Cheerleader Camp alongside Betsy Russell. Lucinda is a trained gymnast and has won the Miss Hutchinson, the place of her birth, the Miss Manhattan and the Miss Kansas pagents. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Adolfo Shabba-Doo Quinones is Ozone in Cannon Films production of Breakin'. A character close to his personel experiences, Ozone has had to overcome the objections of the professional dance world to his special style of movement. Shabba-Doo was part of the Los Angeles dance group, The Lockers, which developed the locking style of dance now performed by many. Shabba-Doo has appeared on many television shows such as Saturday Night Live, The Big Show, Real People, The Merve Griffin Show and The Mike Douglas Show. He was a principal dancer on The Midnight Special for one year. In addition, he has appeared as the opening act for such luminaries as Bette Midler and Tina Turner. Shabba-Doo was also featured in Lionel Richie's music video All Night Long. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Michael Boogaloo Shrimp Chambers is Turbo. This was his first motion picture. Prior to the film, Shrimp appeared in a number of television commercials, a documentary about street dancing for ON-TV entitled Breaking and Entering, and the famous Lionel Richie music vdieo All Night Long. In addition, Shrimp has toured with Lionel Richie and has appeared on The American Music Awards. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Ben Lokey plays the nefarious Franco. This was Lokey's first acting role in a motion picture. Lokey has been a proffesional dancer for years and has appeared in such musicals as A Chorus Line, Kiss Me Kate, No, No Nanette, Gypsy, The Music Man, Damn Yankees and Girl Crazy. On Television, Lokey has appeared on The American Music Awards, and Dick Clark's 25th Anniversary Special. He has directed and choreographed a number of regional produtions of stageplays and musicals. In addition, he is trained in a number of martial art skills, fencing, motorcycling and watersports such as skiing scuba diving and swiming. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Phineas Newborn III portrays Adam, a jazz dancer, who brings Kelly together with Ozone and Turbo. Newborn began dancing at the age of sixteen, and while only twenty, he already had an impressive number of credits to his name. He joined the national touring company of A Chorus Line just before his high school graduation. Other stage shows include They're Playing Our Song, Gypsy, Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Runaways. In addition, he has appeared on television in The White Shadow, The Mary Tyler Moore Special and Dinah! Neborn also appeared in the movie Girls Just Want To Have Fun. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| McDonald has studied acting at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts and at London's Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. McDonald later spent three seasons at Geneva's Stock Theatre in Switzerland. McDonald's television shows include Cheers, B.J. and the Bear and Getting Married.
