Lucina Roark received her BFA in Texas and MFA in Massachusetts. She also received a website design & development diploma and worked as a web programmer in commercial and private businesses. Even though originally a printmaker (working in etching, lithography and relief printing) her body of work includes various other media such as graphite, charcoal, color pencil, oil and oil pastel. Lucina has teaching experience in all printmaking techniques as well as basic drawing, figure drawing and design. She conducted many workshops in monotype, block printing, colored pencil and oil pastel. Lucina has exhibited her work in many one-person and group shows, participated in numerous juried museum/gallery exhibitions nationwide and received many awards. She has served as juror for various art competitions. Lucina moved to Florida in 2009 and has continued teaching art classes in Hernando, Leesburg , Mount Dora and Master the Possibilities in Ocala, Florida.
