Death Sages are demons. They hide as humans and kill anyone breaking laws. Death Sages are lightly armed. they have one gun, one sword, a pair of gauntlets, and a one-ear headphone to track down victims. When a Death Sage goes on a killing spree, it is called "Hunting."
It is extremely easy to break laws in Castalia. It is illegal to go in debt, practice religion, help victims, own weapons, and attack Death Sages.
High Officials are the Antichrists assistants. There are five, each representing a lord of Hell. It was formerly known as The Five Princes of Hell, but it was changed to Lords. The High Officials are either the son or daughter of a Lord of Hell (one of a gazillion).
People are kept track of by Barcodes that are tattooed on some point og the body at age 15. Barcode in the North America Area have ten digits. The South America region has nine digits. The Australia region has eight digits. The Antarctica region has seven digits. The Europe region has six digits. The Africa region has five digits. The islands have three digits. A person's barcode must be scanned in order to make purchases and use utilities.
