Greetings to the Den..
Recently Brian Nalls (Denkeeper) approached me about changing
the name of
the vampiric section of Lucifer's Den. I suggested we change our
name to the
Nosferatu of Lucifer's Den. Brian agreed and our new name was
born. I think
the new name is better than the other and I hope it symbolizes
a new
beginning for the vampires of Lucifer's Den. I have started what
I call
"topics of discussion" concerning vampirism.
This is an educational program done online on Wednesday nights
where I speak
about a certain topic once a week. This occurs on mIRC in #VampireTopics
once a week. All topic chats will start at 5 PM Pacific time or
9 Eastern
time and last an hour. Everyone is invited to attend. The purpose
of these
chats is to inform and help anyone understand vampirism better.

I have been working with Brian to help establish an offline vampire
community in the southern Calif. area. I hope to establish an
offline
community as well in New Orleans with the Vampire Church. So we
are working
to do more offline for the community as we do on the web. I have
been
talking to some here in the Den about vampirism. I would like
to talk a
little about what vampirism is and the types of vampirism.
Vampirism is both a state of being and a life path, not a choice,
and is
then based on both need and ability. True vampires have energy
needs unlike
most humans and the ability to utilize that energy for health.
A vampire's
energy needs range from the pranic or dense form such as that
found in blood
and sex, to psychic/empathic energy found in the emotions and
mental
energies of people, to the environment such as the energy of storms
and
nature. While these are all sources of energy for the true vampire,
one or
more may be used. Vampirism is with a person when born and so
one must
awaken to it or recognize it in the life ahead. All true vamps
have their
own time line in their awakening and the development of any abilities.
Some
vamps know of their energy needs early in life and some later.
A common bond we share with satanism is the belief in the self
and the
empowerment and development of self. We seek the truths of our
dark path in
vampirism thru this development of this self. Knowledge is power
and so is
the use of your ability to enable one to survive. It is thru our
knowledge
and ability that we as vampires learn how to live our lives easier
and with
greater satisfaction. We have unique abilities that when developed
enable us
to seek the energy sources for our needs. This then insures we
survive with
less discomfort.
I have read what LeVey has had to say about psychic vampirism.
I think there
is a lot of misunderstanding of this type. I believe that LeVey
refers to
the uncontrolled use of psychic abilities to unnecessarily leach
the
emotional energy of other people. True psychic vampirism does
not take
unnessary advantage of the psychic energy of others. They have
developed
control and focus of this vampirism so that psychic feeding is
done over a
wide area of sources such as that in people and in nature and
atmospheric
happenings such as storms. When the psychic vampire has had enough,
the
effort to feed is stopped and most people are ususally not aware
of it. This
is the true psychic vampire I have always spoke of who is no danger
or
nuisence to anyone. Eduaction is key here and those of us are
ususally
educated in our vampirism as well as in life. We are not the leaches
of
society.
One of the typical myths of the film industry is to become a vamp
by a
"bite" or this "blood transfer". That is, one cannot be made a
vampire by
way of being "embraced", or "turned" or "made". Blood is energy
for the
energy feeder. Blood contains many compounds and easily will make
anyone to
vomit when ingested too much. All vampiress who are energy feeders
of blood
have their own levels of need and tolerance. The film industry
and the media
cause enough problems for us by what is published and seen. True
vampires
find they fight the mentality that so many have of them because
of the
movies and books made. Most vampires have a sensitivity to sunlight,
but
that does not exclude them from being in it. Sunglasses and covering
up
ususally are sufficient.
It is important to understand that a vampire's health is directly
related to
the availability of these energy sources. One can easily feel
weak,
lethargic, and suffer from headaches and depression if not able
to access
the energy sources needed. There is no giving up who you are in
this life of
vampirism. Understanding vampirism is knowing about the true needs
of
vampires and how these needs relate to health. Many vampires struggle
to
attain the energy sources sought. It is a life of pursuit and
one of health
and one not easily inderstood by most. There is much misconception
and
harrasement by those who would push their own morality and dogma
upon us.
Understanding who we are is our path to enlightment. I will speak
more about
vampirism in the next issue of the Zine

This is the current schedule of the Classes in vampirism which
I have
going during this month. I will put out an announcement every
month.
I have started what I call "topics of discussion" concerning
vampirism. This is an educational program done online on specific
nights about specific topics where I speak about a certain topic
each
night. This occurs on mIRC in #VampireTopics once a week. I have
drawn up a schedule a month in advance for the topics which will
be
covered on what days and dates. I have included the schedule as
follows:
May 3, Wednesday: Topic will be What is true vampirism
May 10, Wednesday: Topic will be safe blood play and letting
May 17, Wednesday: Topic will be about Psychic Vampirism
May 24, Wednesday: Topic will be about Pranic vampirism
May 31, Wednesday: Topic will be about Common misconceptions of
vampirism
This is the current schedule as of right now. All topic chats
will
start at 6 PM Pacific time and 9 Eastern time. Everyone is invited
to
attend. The purpose of these chats is to inform and help anyone
understand vampirism better. these topic chats are occuring every
wednesday.
