Forrest's pictures of Synergy life and the official Synergy site (in need of work but cute nonetheless).
Jacquie Pratt travels all around the world. She is interested in sustainable agriculture, folk music, all things purple & green, architecture, and more. She was the RA at Synergy Cooperative, where we lived at Stanford, and has some great pictures from Syn on her page.
Rob Baesman recently married Shaun in a beautiful wedding overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge. I know Rob from when we lived in Synergy together. He has a cute picture of himself from the Mercury News on his site. Now, why isn't Shaun mentioned on his page???
Chara Rydzak is a friend from Stanford. She doesn't have a homepage, but she's been published in JAMA! Here's a link to her article. Look closely, her name's there with the other authors.
David Soergel is another friend from Synergy. He always has an interesting project underway, frequently combining either environmental concerns or music with technology.
Allette Brooks is a singer-songwriter who was kitchen manager at Synergy a couple of years before I was. Her songs include radical politics and creative images. Get out & see her when she tours in your area.
Vienna Teng, aka Cynthia Shih, is starting out her music career. Her CD, Waking Hour, is great: I love her melodies, and her lyrics are poetry.
Mike Thompson is a friend from the Dar-list. We've chatted a bit about our writing. The best thing on his website are his hilarious interpretations of Dar's lyrics, as well as parodies.
Suzi Steffen is another friend from the Dar-list. She's a writer, teacher, and LGBT activist. This is an example of one of her columns for the Daily Iowan which exemplifies the important work that she does.
Amber Dol is another friend from the internet. She is very creative... take a look at her drawings.
Kelley Green is yet another friend from on-line. She's getting married--cute pictures of her fiancee and her new kitten.
Amy Putnam, aka Photomonk, is a photographer & web designer whom I met through the Dar-list's Friday night chats.
