A strange night, to say the least,
While listening to natural music,
Unleashing from within the beast
I hide during the day, too sick
To hold on in this world.
I see, I feel, much to my surprise
Something very different, yet still right.
Why though, we two creatures have no ties?
But now I know, twas a messenger of light
That took me into that world.
No panic, no pain, only feelings of peace
In this strange, yet all too familiar life
The greatest joy ever, to say the least
When I could sense she who was my wife
In the miracle of that world.
Both within heavenly bodies
Joined together in a surreality
This, the inspiration of my hobbies
Striving for a return to the totality
Felt during my short time in that world.
Draconic hide and serpentine scales,
Horned head, but it was my soul
There, the form but not the mind hails
The angels blessings do dole
The residents of that world.
Fleeting, but there,
On the edge of perception.
More than I can bear
The thing that drives my obsession
I need back into that world.
That may be the only way
For me to say what I need to say
I know she knows, but still,
I want to say over us Ill forever mill
Until mind, soul, and finally the physical
At last rejoin, and not just in the mystical
Im sick of waiting . . .
Ill wait for you . . .
I need you soon . . .
