| The pain washed over him like a wave. Brief glances at the others confirmed that they had felt it as well. In fact the only one who didnt seem to feel it was the one who now clung to his father with the desperation of a child. It was an eerie sight really. Such violent shows of emotion really werent in the samurais character. But, if one thought about it, they could easily think of a dozen incidents in the last week that werent in the samurais character. He knew when it started too. With Lothors latest freak of the day. Only difference between this one and the rest was its obvious psychic powers. He was started from his reverie when a hand landed on his shoulder. Tori says she knows how to use the medical equipment. He turned in acknowledgement of his brothers words, all the while trying to remember something he obviously should have remembered. Your nose, was Blakes slightly annoyed reply upon recognizing the meaning of his blank expression. Oh yeah! That! He thought sarcastically. Stop it! It was sudden, unexpected, kind of like the emotional change that came with it. All he knew for sure was that one minute he had Blake worrying about his nose, the next thing he knew he had Cam trying to burn a hole in him with his to knowledgeable, and at that moment, too fiery eyes. What? It was so unnerving that he unvolunteeringly took a step back, dimly noting in the process that everyone else had done the same. Oh yeah! That! It was delivered with the same amount of sarcasm that he had intended it to have that it was creepy. He took another step back and his mouth was hanging wide open, but he seemed to be doing better than Blake and Tori, who looked confused, and a whole lot better than Shane and Dustin, who looked purely clueless. Holy. Shut up! Just shut up! The gaping looks of everyone else assured him that he hadnt been imagining things. His mind was having trouble comprehending it. So great was his confusion that his brain barely registered Senseis voice. In fact it wasnt until his brother grabbed his arm and physically dragged him from the room that he understood that they had been kicked out. It would later come to him mind that he should have been concerned, but for now all he could muster as his brother dragged him away, was blank, numbness. |
