| Tulips in her hair Fragrant as a spring rain Fresh as the morning dew Bright as sun light She dances in circles Her arms flung wide Dizzy as a merry-go-round ride Joy in her laughter A new day she has discovered Joy for tomorrow Hope for the rest of her days Love will touch her if she waits If she waits Heart and mind open wide That dizzy merry-go-round ride will end And complete she will be in her blissful eternity |

| March 8, 2005 | Love has died Grief eclipses joy The sun of day sets on the horizon Over an ocean of happiness Dusk blooms full of sadness What will one do How will one live Wither like a flower under a heavy frost Or live day by day Will it end this gaping blackness Can light penetrate again Oh wait, it already has Its only a pinprick now But it will grow and with it hope Hope for the future That will dawn even in darkness Constant, never changing, it will dawn |
