Message from Mike:
Taken from July 2002 Detroit Jam Rag CD review:
LUCID JONES
There is a maturity, depth and sophistication in their songwriting that is refreshingly a cut above the norm.
"One Day At A Time" leads the track order on this fine disc, with an astute look at social class and how one type of person measures up another. It's an effective mid-tempo rocker that should hit home with most folks.
"Comfortable" is another standout track that features a waltz-like meter and soaring vocals.
"Kaila" follows with a buoyant, upbeat style, boasting flowing harmonies.
Actually, at ten songs total, there's not a clunker in the bunch. Their songs harbor the lion's share of unique personality and progressive expression.
