Apple cake

INGREDIENTS:

 

1.5 kg apples

1 tablespoon butter

6 eggs

6 tablespoons sugar

6 tablespoons flour

6 tablespoons water

100 g whipped cream

 

PREPARATION:

 

 

Peel the apples, cut into thick slices and put them in a round baking pan greased with butter in an even layer.

Whisk the egg yolks with sugar until the sugar melts, add flour and water gradually until smooth.

Whisk the egg whites separately until foamy and add them on the above mentioned mixture little by little stirring continuously.

Add this mixture over the apples and bake it in the oven over medium heat for 45 min. Check if it’s done by inserting a toothpick in the dough. If the toothpick is clean when you take it out, the cake is ready.

Place the cake on a plate and when it’s cold decorate it with whipped cream.
