Pressed cheese roll

INGREDIENTS:

 

350 g pressed cheese

100 g butter

100 g flour

5 eggs

sour cream

 

PREPARATION:

 

 

Grate finely the pressed cheese.

Whisk the egg yolks with flour and butter. Add 250 g pressed cheese.

Whisk the egg whites separately until foamy and add to the above mixture.

Grease with butter a baking tray, spread the mixture evenly in the tray and put it in the preheated oven. Let it bake for 20-30 min. until golden. Take it out from the oven, spread the rest of the grated pressed cheese and bring it back in the oven for another 5 min. Remove from the oven and when it’s still warm, roll it (with the melted cheese inside). When completely cold, cut it into 1 cm thick slices. Serve cold or hot, topped with sour cream as desired.
