Fried pressed cheese (Cascaval pane)

INGREDIENTS:

 

100-150 g pressed cheese

oil or butter

milk, flour

 

PREPARATION:

 

 

Cut pressed cheese into 1 cm thick slices. Dip each slice in milk then in flour, beaten egg, and bread crumbs.

Heat oil in a large skillet then lower the fire and fry the pressed cheese slices on both sides until the cheese becomes soft and the bread crumbs are golden.

Serve immediately.
