Balmus

INGREDIENTS:

 

400 g maize

650 ml milk

650 ml water

200 g ewe cheese (branza de burduf)

salt, sour cream (optional)

 

PREPARATION:

 

 

Boil the milk with water, salt and maize. Let it simmer at low fire stirring continuously until you obtain soft polenta. When ready, add cheese and mix well. Put it on a plate and sprinkle with sour cream.

Serve hot with cold sour cream on top.
