Jennifer (Bernard) Deslauriers
Jennifer was born in Kapuskasing Ontario on August 15 1982. Second child of 3 she came in weighing 7 pounds 4 ounces .From the start she was not very healty. Despite the fact that she was epileptic and asthmatic,wich got her to spend many night and days in then hospital Jennifer was a strong willed and good living person. She still managed to keep her grades up in school and she was even a gymnastic medalist.When she was surrounded with her family for hollidays and special occasions she was the life of the party. Jennifer was a typical teenager with the pearsings and all and she enjoyed a good chalenge so that won her many friends. She loved animals,my golly she even had a pet snake at some time. She was great with kids too,if there was kids in the house we never had to wonder where they were if she was arround because she would take them in her room to do something.She also had a great voice. But one day she found medicine to her illness.The world of drugs.
Unfortunately that was the begining of theend for her.She entered a vicious circle and after a few years and multiple attempts to try to get out of that sordid rampage and to get her life on the right track she did it,but not without lots of illness and suffering.That led her to give up and one day my world was torn appart and my heart was shread to pieces.Jennifer took her life in a tragic way on May 9th 1998.I wish she would have opened up tome so I could have at least tried to help her but it was too late.On that night i would have given my life to bring her back as I would do for all the people I love. No one will never know why but one thing that I do know is that one day I'll be reunited with her and then I will get an answer to all my questions.
Jennifer wanted to travel the world and discover buried treasures and often she said she wished she could fly.Well I beleive she made her dream come true and that she is looking upon her family and friends from time to time
Jenny was at her best in the out of doors,specially at the lake because summertime came and she was always the first in the water for a good swim,cold or not there she was.
