WE'D BEEN HERE AWHILE BEFORE I STARTED THIS DIARY, SO HERE'S A LITTLE CATCH UP

The first thing we had to get use to was the constant heat & humidity, we tend to look forward to the few cloudy days we do get.  Murray has handled this much better then I, which came as a surprise. After some thought however, we put this down to the fact that he is the one working in it where my life has taken on a much slower pace.

I thought that not being able to work down here would drive me crazy, I seem to have adapted okay though. This is probably mostly due to all the company we've had, which is wonderful.  If you've surfed the site, then you've seen pics of all our visitors.

Murray found the pace at work hard to adapt to, he has maintained his Canadian work ethic and tends to get a little frustrated with the Bahamian "No Problem, No Hurry" state of mind. This has gotten on his last nerve a few times as well when dealing with different services, but then, we are in their country. We have found that the peole here are very friendly and laid back, the children are so well behaved, and for the most part, pricing is reasonable.  Certainly no worse then living expenses in the far northern regions of Canada.

We've made some wonderful new friends that I'm sure we'll remain in contact with once our time here is over. Murray has throughly enjoyed the year round golfing....I've also taken up the sport and must admit Mur has been very patient with me. He's hooked up with a bunch of guys that give him better competition and that keeps him happy! Let me not fail to mention, that Mur won the
"FORTUNE HILLS COUNTRY CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP" FOR THE YEAR 2001
We thank everyone who has come to visit. Thx for all the Good Times.
