Taxes 'N Books is a tax prep business my grandma started years ago. She passed away last year and her children (my mom and 2 uncles) took over.
The website is fairly outdated. When I first looked at it, it instantly reminded me of Web 1.0.
I loved my grandma, but that just won't do it for me.
I got permission from my techie uncle to rewrite the website and that's what I'll do.

People need friendly, affordable, and trustworthy tax preparers. Taxes 'N Books strikes that balance perfectly and has for 36 years.
My goal with this website is to help TnB grow as a company and step into the modern era.
The new website will be attractive to younger clients with a fresh, new look but also won't scare away older clients with a confusing interface.
Simplicity is the ultimate goal.
TnB already has a very loyal customer base in Sacramento and Vacaville, CA.
The hope with the new site, however, is to target a younger audience (16-24 year-olds).
Primarily younger people who are yet to be well-versed in taxes and need/want to learn.
