Perserver- To be stead fast.

"We have around us many people whose lives tell us what faith means. So let us run the race that is before us and never give up. We should remove from our lives anything that would get in the way and the sin that so easily holds us back."

Temptations of the flesh, side track us from running the race of life. The devil will try to tempt us, and stop us running for Christ. We need to throw the things off our backs anything that will get in the way. Let go of the things that will tangle you up. Give up the snares and the traps. Give them to God.

Run with perseverance the track that has already been marked for us. If you keep on, if you persist, you will win!!! Don't hang back; don't sit down on the sideline. When you progress, you bring glory to the Father.

The Bible is our direction book, it is our map. It is essential to read it, if we want to progress. We should be following in God's footsteps.

The opposite of perseverance is to go astray. This will cause us, to get off track, and stay away from the flock and to hang back. We need to be a forward mover who looks to the future. We need to be risk takers, who deal with life and have forward movement.

Look at the priorities in your life, God should be and must be first. If you put Him first, the other things will follow. Christ is everything or nothing!!!! Be a front runner not someone who is toddling on at the back. We need to run our race through Christ. You need strict discipline and focus for following Christ. Keep looking towards Christ, he will help you to begin the race and finish the race. It is easy to start something, but so many people give up when things start to get tough. Perseverance and persistence is the only way to finish the race. Stay on your feet and don't give up!!! Put a move on and stop hanging back! March on forward, go all of the way to the finishing line, which is up to your dying breath. Don't let sickness, excuses, problems, difficulties, persecutions, temptations, testings, trials, setbacks, or other people over come you.

The key word for disciples is discipline the. Be a disciplined disciple yourself. Run towards the fulfilment of His plans and purposes that He has for your life, not your own plans and purposes which will only result in failure. He will reveal and unfold to you step by step His plans and purposes when you continually seek His face and favour. Walking in Faith and running forward will get you to the end of the race, and at the end of the race this is where you will receive your reward/crown. One lap of the track will lead you to the next lap of the track and the next. You can't have time off and stop!!! The re are side stalls on the side of the track which will lead you astray, learn not to visit them, be strong in the Lord and His mighty power and overcome the temptation f the world the flesh and the devil. If you have been hurt, bruised, or broken, take courage from the Lord Jesus. He, overcame all this and much more, who for the jot set before endured the cross and all its pain, shame and contempt. He did not give up until He conquered our final enemy death itself. He now lives in you to enable you to get up again and preserver to the very end. You may be a wounded soldier but stay in the fight to the end. Keep on running forward.

We can all see that perseverance pays off. Because are of perseverance, prays are answered. Persistent prayers pay off!!!! So don't give up!!!
