TESTIMONIES
Hi, my name is Luke, and I love Jesus. I am 16 years old and I made my decision to accept Jesus into my heart back in 1997, However, I didn't stick through the bad times and I went back to my old ways: but around November last year I began to really follow Jesus again and tell my friends in school about him. Now telling your friends in school about Jesus, may sound daunting, it did to me but because I did tell them, 1 of them gave their heart to the Lord. Although the road has been hard, I take comfort, as we learn in the bible that we should laugh and rejoice when we are tested, as it gives us greater faith and patience. Also remember to not let the devil condemn you of your sins, Jesus died so that you could be forgiven, not sometimes forgiven, but all the time… Take encouragement all you young people, Jesus is alive and don't I know it. Hi my name is Sarah, I am fifteen years old and I live in the Rhondda Valleys in South Wales. I have grown up in a Christian family going to church almost all of my life. However this did not make me a Christian. At the age of 12, I didn't really enjoy going to church anymore. In the summer of '99, the youth in the church that I was attending were going to a Christian camp called Soul Survivor. I really wasn't keen on going. I tried to come up with all kind of excuses not to go, like it would cost to much, but the church paid for those who couldn't afford it! I really didn't want to go. I look back and it was definitely God. My sister and I ended up going almost being forced by our parents. But when we got there we soon changed our minds. That night we went to one of the meetings, and the Holy Spirit touched me, I had never experienced anything like it ever before, and it was as if God became real to me. I then made a wholehearted decision to follow and serve God. I haven't stopped ever since.
And I believe God has put a desire in my heart to sing for him and to minister to people through my singing. I would just like to encourage all you teenage Christians out there to keep on going with God and to never give up. And I urge all you non-Christians to give God a chance in your lives, as he is the one who makes the difference, he will help and comfort you in your time of need, he will turn your morning into dancing. Jesus came to die on the cross not just for my sins but yours as well; he came to take sin away so that we can have a relationship with God! : [email protected]
