Zoe means Gods Life. It is a course written by a couple in America called Dick and Ginny. Even though it has been taken all over the United Kingdom, it is not as commonly known as the Alpha course. The Zoe courses are for youth and of course adults. It was firstly written for adults, however, many American youths took the course. Our youth group was the first to take it over here in Britain, and what a success. I believe that it has helped us all. The difference from before we started to now is obvious, we are all a lot more for God than for the world. There are a lot of courses to do, if you want to that is. But the first one to do is Zoe Foundational. Like all the courses, what you do is that you get a big booklet, with 12 different sections, for the 12 weeks involved in the course; and in each section, are handouts. You also get a book to read, and every week you get told which chapters to read, and the chapters you read, are relevant to the handouts you do. As you are reading it all, you highlight the necessary things, then when you come to class, you discuss what you have got out of the handout and the book. It sounds complicated, I know.
