on Microsoft Business Solution Axapta Version 3.0 in modules:
a. Trade &
Logistics

2. Doing live implementation of Axapta modules namely, “Trade & Logistics” and “Finance”.
Completed a Live Implementation at a client from the Construction Industry where I had been put up as main lead for the ‘Trade & Logistics’ module & Finance module. Performed the Diagnostics study, System requirement, Gap-Fit analysis and User training. The implementation is being mainly focused on Trade, Logistic, Finance and Inventory modules. The application is being designed at two levels – Customer Head Office level and all project sites. The all project sites are connected with AOS server .The finance seems to be critical area, so involves much work around mapping with standard localized Axapta and some statutory specific reports required customization. As client’s inventory is based on Material requisition specific, so a new MRN being developed which tracks movement of materials from requisition to issue through purchase process. The data migration was also part of the implementation project plan.

client and provided the sales proposal by defining the License requirement by
the client.

I had performed the System study
& documented the requirements. Scope of implementation was decided and had
provided the Implementation Plan & Proposal.

Provided Pre-implementation training
to the client. For the modules Finance [Axapta Standard & Indian Statutory]
and Trade & Logistics.
d.
Detailed Analysis of Requirement:
Detail discussion / record level discussion on each process and preparation of
Gap Fit Document and taking of Sign-off. Good understanding of programming
helped to minimize the customization effort and reduce the man-hour for
customization.

Preparation of Enterprise Design
Document based on the customization requirement in the application as well in
reports.
f.
Looked after Master Data setup and
History data entry. Also managed the Customizations in Axapta by creating the
Software Design Document.
g.
Provided the guidance to the
development team for customization for application and reports. Developed Test
Cases & conducted Testing. Configured Axapta to integrate/ communicate with
Bar Code scanner.
h.
Took Pilot Test case sign-off before
making the Axapta application to Go-Live.
i.
Process included huge managerial
activities like creating at the project plan and managing the time schedule as
per the plan.
j.
Project involved support for a
period of 0.5 month after go-live.
3. Construction
Framework
Sonata Construction is a
pre-configured framework based on Microsoft India Localized Axapta (SP4), and
has Construction industry processes mapped and customized so as to help in fund
flow management and project management analysis by better allocation of budgets
for different projects. This framework will help industries from Construction
vertical to reduce their lead-time in Procurement of materials, budget
management, and project specific cash flow analysis.

4. Product Evaluation: Alerts for Axapta
Product Evaluation of various Alerts, Workflow
application which could be implemented at Axapta’s Client place. Various
products include KnowledgeSync from VineyardSoft Corporation, XAlerts from
Categoric and Alerts Module developed by nFocus Technologies.
5. Integration Project
Integration between “Third Party US Payroll
Solution” with Axapta’s Finance Module. Handled business requirement gathering
and preparing the functional specification & Design Documentation.
6. Customization project
Worked on customization for Account Payable
module in Axapta. Project involved bringing about “Purchase budgeting” into
Axapta’s Purchase process.
