Lubenka is the dam of my lovely yearling Arab/Lipizzan filly Nika.  She is my all time favorite horse and has a permanent place in my heart.  I bought a horse but got a best friend- not much else to say- we've jumped, done dressage, trail ridden, and had a blast.  A family friend once asked me why she was named Lubenka... I knew it had something to do with a prison in Russia.  Turns out that it was a large KGB prison in the U.S.S.R.!  Not exactly a fabulous name for a great horse!!!
