Who's Hayley? Born in Luanshya, Zambia, in 1971, I moved to Canada in 1972. Since then I've lived in Toronto (thrice), Ottawa, Inkerman, Bainsville (twice), Curry Hill, Mississauga, and I'm now on my second tour in Montreal. Think I'll stay awhile. My greatest passion is words. There are some I particularly like ("caffeine" "defenestrate"), but I use a lot of others, too ("bloody hell!" "y'think?"). I live in a little home surrounded by bushes with Melani; my boy, Trevor; our cats, Vanyel and Darlin' Pretty; and my dearest pal, the coffeemaker. It's a white Coffee-Magic that has pride of place as the centrepiece of my kitchen. Oh, sure, I tell the appliances I love them equally, but the Coffee-Magic's the only one I handle every day. I have a mom and a dad, a brother and a sister, a couple of inlaws, a smattering of outlaws, and rickety skeletons in my closet. I like Star Wars and Lucy Maud Montgomery. I adore Enzo and Han and Jarod and Skinner and Xander. Would love to be like Anne and Scully and Dharma and Ophelia. Michael Ironside totally rocks!
