| WHAT IS LU JONG ? Lu Jong originates from Tibet and is 8000yrs old.It is similar to Yoga. The exercises are all done to music. There is a short meditation at the beginning and a guided relaxation at the end. WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF LU JONG ? Lu Jong offers an opportunity to balance the physical and mental aspects of everyday life.It also improves: * general health * circulation * flexibility * inner body strength * stamina * lifespan WHY SHOULD I LEARN LU JONG ? In the West, we tend to think of the body and the mind as two different entities.Lu Jong teaches ways in which the body and mind can be harmonised.Only when this takes place can true happiness and contentment be experienced. WHAT LEVEL OF FITNESS IS REQUIRED? To carry out the exercises, you will be asked to stand, sit cross legged and kneel. The exercises can also be carried out while sitting on a chair. Lu Jong is suitable for all age groups. RESONS FOR NOT ATTENDING A LU JONG WORKSHOP - Pregnancy - High Blood pressure (you can attend if you have high blood pressure and it's being controlled by medication) |
