Elvis is still the King of Rock and Roll,     Elvis has to be my most adored singer, entertainer of all  time.
Elvis Aaron Presley   Born January 8, 1935, in Tupelo Mississippi, Died   August 16,1977, in Memphis Tennessee.
Both me and my sis Maggie adored Elvis, I dont think there was ever a better singer , entertainer, or ever will be in my  mind and I know alot of other peoples minds. Elvis's music  will live on forever.
I was so lucky as to be able to see him perform live one year before he died.in San Fransico .  I never thought I would ever cry at a concert , but let me say I cryed , I was so overwhelmed,  just the feeling , the music, to watch Elvis even at that time he was not in top form fisically, but his voice never failed him. He literally takes your breath away. He knew what his audience craved for and he knew how to deliver it. As long as I live I will never adore a performer more than I do Elvis.
I loved his movies that he made , from Love me Tender  to  Jailhouse Rock , Frankie and Johnny to Charro, and own quite a few along with his Documentarys. (though undeniably sexy and musically gifted) in his movies he stuggles  through many trials to get the girl.  Of course, the plots of Presley's pictures were unimportant. What mattered was that Elvis appeared in the  movie, weaving his charm, wooing beautiful woman, and (usually) singing up a storm.
Some of my favorite songs that Elvis sang  were   Unchained melody, Love me tender, Cant help falling in love,  My way, If i can dream, How great thou art, Hound dog, Teddybear,  American Triology, Jailhouse rock,You gave me a mountain,  and many others the list goes on. Elvis sang such a wide range of songs  and he sang them all great.  From Gospel  to country to Rhythm and Blues to good ole Rock and Roll.
People of all ages  adored Elvis and  would stand for hours on end to catch a glimpse of Elvis if they thought they had a chance to see him.
Elvis may not be alive today, but his music will always live  in the hearts of millions and i know mine.  I miss you Elvis.
