Dreams
And
Realities

The winter snow is all but gone
And spring is on the way
The flowers struggle through the snow,
And seek the sun's warm ray.

Mother Nature's wakened from her sleep
Her miracles abound
She'll cleanse the air and then the stream,
And purify the ground.

When the earth was formed, so long ago
This circle first was born
The seasons change, throughout the year,
And evening follows morn.

We often curse the winter's storms
And some still fear the night
But this is nature's way to rest,
And carry on her fight.

Man has become a plague on earth
His mark left far and wide
For us to change the way things are,
We must all work side by side.

The earth was here before our kind
There were no rights or wrongs
When man is gone...Who'll say the prayers,
And who will sing the songs?

We must believe in miracles
We see them everyday
Explain to me, the fragile rose,
The mighty 'Milky Way'.

Life is short, but oh so sweet
Yet someday it will end
When I am gone, I hope the earth,
Will welcome home a friend.
