What's New Since Last Time We Met?
Well, It's Summertime And It's HOT!
The above photos are here to illustrate how I trained Nikki to eliminate in a lined plastic box when I can't take her outside. It was very easy to do while she was a little pup, especially when she had to potty so often per day. Although she prefers to go outside now that she's "all grown up" and it's nice weather, sometimes my own disability prevents me from taking her out even once a day. Therefore, her potty training as shown here has been essential, and I try more to find "help" in giving her the actual exercise (ie. running & socializing) she needs to keep from going "crazy" being cooped up all day long.
These 2 photos remind me of school kids whispering secrets during class, then one of being embarrised when she got caught! I just think they are SO CUTE!
I know this photo is a poor one, but this shows Buddy suckling on the corner of one of my pillows. Along with this behavior, he also kneads the pillow with his paws, as if he were a kitten with his MAMA! This behavior is quite common in adult cats, especially those who may have been separated and/or weaned too young, (i.e. 4-6 wks. compared to 7-8 wks.). [Hopefully, I'll get a better/cuter picture of this behavior later, and I'll replace the current one.]
This is one way that Buddy stalks Nikki!
