| The Strange and Paranormal..... or me just being weird? |
| Since I was a child, I have always been interested in odd occurances and strange phenomenon. I think my mother helped by making me watch horror movies with her because my father was to chicken to. I have always been drawn towards haunted houses and ghosts. Also, psychic abilities and magic have drawn my attention. Now, laugh if you will, but I have always felt that I have some psychic ability. It tends to run in my mother's side of the family. I talked with a friend of mine once about it and he agreed that he felt something from me. I read tarot and numerology, for fun. I also have a way of telling if a place is actually haunted. I don't see things, but I feel things and often hear things. I think the first time I actually see something, I will probably freak out and run. But I won't let that ruin more adventures for me. I have been in friends' houses and apartments and sensed a presence or many. I had one ex whose house was so haunted, I never wanted to go back because it was too much for me. Others have been fun and interesting, and so far, nothing bad. But, that can all change so I am careful not to invite anything negative. I also started reading tarot in college just for something to do. I usually give general reading and the person being read can put into it what he/she feels. I have occasionally given specific details about something and it was something I wanted to develop more. I do give friends and coworkers tarot profiles, mixed with a numerology reading, when asked. I think they enjoy it.... it's like getting you daily horoscope. I currently own three tarot decks. Only one is used as a deck that can be touched by anyone..... like a display deck. I don't like to give someone my main reading deck because I do not want multiple energies to be absorbed prior to a reading. I will only allow the person being read to touch the deck, and only during the reading. |
