STALIN’S TANKS SCENARIOS
These scenarios are adapted, with his kind permission, from Brian Train's Stalin’s Tanks Plus 1 page. If you’re interested in board wargaming, particularly microgames, I’d recommend visiting his site.
All the scenarios here are quite short and there are only a few units on each side. As with the original game the intention is to provide 30-40 mins challenging play. Sometimes it’s nice to have a break from shunting battalion sized formations around gargantuan maps for hours on end.
These scenarios take up slots 180 to 184 in the SPWW2 SCEN folder. The maps are mostly based on old Squadleader boards.

A Russian mechanised-cavalry group attacks a German airfield. The German infantry represent a scratch force and are perhaps a bit too well equipped. |

An encounter between two recon groups. Most challenging against the German AI as the Soviets are outnumbered and outgunned. |

Similar to v1 but the Soviet cavalry is replaced by a platoon of partisans lying in ambush in the woods. |
