It has the resolution of 640x200 (or 320x200) with a palette of 4096 colors (although only up to 16 colors can be shown at one time), and excellent music capability.
It has a graphical user interface similar to the Macintosh and Windows which makes using it very simple for the current generation.
You can now build up your own Apple IIGS using any Mac or PC, just download the emulator, install it and enjoy! If you search around the Internet, you can also find a lot of good softwares available in 2MG disk format.

You can also simply pick up the real thing. This is a good machine to own!
