The trip will take place on July 4th, 2004. We will meet at the Tiverton Park 'N Ride at either 1:00 PM or 1:30.
Itinerary:
1:30 PM Arrive at Tiverton Park 'N Ride
1:45 PM Depart for fun at Seekonk Grand Prix, you should bring at least 10 dolars for this, though admission is free. You only need to bring money here if you want to ride the various race vehicles, play games, or purchase refreshments.
3:00 Depart Seekonk Grand Prix for Seekonk Speedway.
3:05: Arrive Seekonk Speedway. Purchase tickets ( 20$00 ). Enter gate as it opens.
3:15 Take the Nick Lima track tour, purchase souveniers and refreshments while lines are short, view the pits, and take advantage of being the first people at the track by getting the best seats on turn 2.
5 PM Witness the sky divers begin the fun filled afternoon at the "Cement Palace." View the spectator drag races, formula 4's, enduros, SYRA, truck racing, and backwards racing.
8 PM Enjoy an action packed evening with figure 8 races, the BEST FIREWORKS this side of the Pacific, and a 200 CAR DEMOLITION DERBY!
About 10:30PM Board vehicles for the drive home.
11:00 PM Arrive at either the Park 'N Ride to retrieve vehicle or go directly home. Hope you had fun!
