Youth Leadership Camp
(Theme - Today's Youth, Tomorrow's Leaders)

Objectives of the YLC:
1. To enhance awareness and practice of better communication and leadership skills among Malaysian youth, hence foster and enhance self-confidence and self-esteem that will promote a rewarding personal growth.
2. To provide a conducive and supportive avenue for the practice of high quality communication skills; speaking, listening and thinking - vital skills that enhance leadership potential & foster human understanding.
What:
The camp will be a "residential" two days one night youth development program. It will be a combination of indoor and outdoor activities, in line with the theme of the program. Various communication and leadership developments aspects, in line with Toastmasters International practice, will be presented and practiced. The outdoor activities will reinforce the communication and leadership aspects learnt in the seminar. At the end of the camp, participants will participate in a speech contest.
Who:
Students of Form 1 to Form 6.
Registration
Early Bird Registration (before 25/9/99): RM75.00 per person
Late Registration (after 25/9/99): RM95.00 per person
Package:
The camp package includes the following:-
T-shirt, Certificate of Attendance, Identification Tag, Handouts, Stationery, Accommodation, Transportation, 4 meals and 3 refreshments.
Departure & Arrival Point:
Assembly point for departure and arrival: PUSAT BELIA & SUKAN, MIRI
Departure time: 9:00am sharp (23rd October 1999)
Est.Arrival time: 5:30pm (24th October 1999)
