You can think of the Liminal space as a taxi cab which takes you from place to place. Although you don't feel it or know it is there, Liminal space can take to the door of hyperreal but you must knock and let youself in. |
| Hyperreal is a term used for the space about real. An area they we can reach with the help of the Internet. Hyperreal not nl ssthe Intenet but T.V. and the movie screen do the same thing too. What they do is to give us a place above what we think is real now. Inable us to join the game or the moive. Before T.V.s and the Internet, books helped us to take us to place we have never been and stories we have never heard. But with the new use of the Internet, we can travel to these places just and well and see those stories never told before. |
| Cybernetic space or 'synthetic space' is made up from real 'space' on the internet. Ebay and Amazon.com are a major part of this true synthetic space. Both are not really there; it is not a real space on the internet. But your PC acts as aw window into that space of Amazon or Ebay. What makes you believe in more in the the space of Ebay and Amazon is after you order something, it comes to your house. Thus the space between you and stores like Ebay Amazon becomes small. |
