| Van Wilder is the type of movie that you either love or hate. Ryan Reynolds (Blade Trinity) plays the lead character in this comedy about Van Wilder, the go to guy on campus, with Tara Reid (American Pie 1 and 2) as the journalist who gets close to him. Wilder has spent seven years attending Coolidge College and is the life of the party. It's only until his dad finds out that Van is still in school and places a halt to Van's tuition payment that he realizes that it's time to find a way to graduate and pay tuition. The film as a few laughs but I did find myself wondering when it was going to end and if you've seen any high school or college-based comedy in the past few years, you've pretty much seen everything this film has to offer. It�s over the top crudity and lack of imagination prevents it from being worth seeing.
