Subway is one of Luc Besson�s earlier films and by many of his fans, said to be his masterpiece. It is stylised film that follows a thief, Fred, into the underworld of the Paris Metro system where he is hiding important documents from Helena (Isabelle Adjani), a rich woman who he has just robbed from and whom he has fallen in love with.
The clothes, the music and more notably, Adjani�s Iroquois hair-do (which is extremely cool) reminds the viewer that this is a typical 80s movie and with the exploration of urban culture, it is clear why this is not just a cult movie in France but indeed a cult movie for all! Look out for Jean Reno who stars in Luc Besson�s beautiful film, Leon!
