| Well I have to say that when I came out from seeing this film I thought, that was really good. However that feeling went away after 10 mins when I realised that it was nothing special. Oscar (Will Smith) is a fish in a big ocean, working as a no-body at the Whale Wash owned by Mr Sykes (Martin Scorsese). He desperately wants to be a somebody despite the love given to him by his friend Angie (Rene Zellweger). On the other side of the reef is Don Lino (Robert De Niro) who wants to his son Lenny (Jack Black) to become more fierce and on a lesson with his brother Lenny comes across Oscar and pretends to attack him, but then his brother comes over and is killed with an anchor and would you guess Oscar takes the opportunity and is now known as the Shark Slayer, attracting all the fame and ladies, such as Lola (Angelina Jolie). I wont say anymore, but it is a classic example of a nobody wanting to be a somebody but then realises that he was a somebody because he had the love of a good women. BORING!!!!! I was disappointed with the story line and thought that DreamWorks would have pulled something more original out of the bag. Yet I cant fault the voice talents, the animation and the sound track which were all amazing. So if you go see this film dont expect a memorable experience. | ||
