| As someone who is interested in the culture of the mods and rockers, I was not disappointed with this film. Quadrophenia is a brilliant 60s film that explores the life of Jimmy Cooper who just doesn�t seem to fit in. He has no girlfriend and hates his job, he is only ever happy when riding his mo-ped with his friends and listening to The Who soundtrack.
The film shows the clash between these two cultures and how important it is for someone to be wearing the right clothes, have the right hairstyle and listen to the right type of music. The best part of the film (alongside the sight of Sting and an early Ray Whinstone) is the music to the film its self. Without the music, this Quadrophenia would not exist. This is pop-culture at its finest.
