What to say about this film? Its entertaining enough in an almost high browed lets have really, really obscure clues that the audience never had a chance to get right, and a load of American history thrown in. This film is basically Nicolas Cage running around the States following clues to find the national treasure hidden by the Founding Fathers and supposedly rescued from Solomons Temple. He does this with the help of Diane Krugers Im a pretty but highly intelligent person honest and Justin Bathas I do all the technical stuff, and make stupid comments.

There are some quite cool set pieces (stealing the Declaration of Independence for example) and Sean Beans playing the bad English guy (hes always worth watching). Apart from that there really isnt that much going for it, you might as well go and see another film as it cant be that hard to find something better. Im sure it has much more relevance to Americans, where the hidden treasure is supposed to still be hidden somewhere, but it just seemed like a bog standard treasure hunt/action movie to me.
