| Great. That is Kill Bill Part Two summed up in a single word. The brides tale of bloody revenge on her former employers; The Deadly Viper Assassination squad is brought to a satisfying conclusion. Both part two and the first instalment have been highly criticised by reviewers in a very odd way. The first was accused of not making much sense; lacking back-story, yet when Tarintino addresses this by making up for it in part two they say there is far too much talking second time round. I urge everyone to ignore these comments and see both films as they are both two of the best releases in the past year, being slickly and stylishly presented, with decent dialogue and a simple yet compelling plot. The dark humour present in the original returns in full force and so does the one criticism that I actually agree with. Kill Bill pt two is a gory film which shows violence in its basic and most brutal form opposed to the highly choreographed and almost dance like fighting seen in the Matrix. So those who find these types of films disturbing would be strongly advised to stay away. Otherwise I recommend you to put it straight at the top of your cinema going list, but do watch the first one beforehand as its a great movie in itself and the second makes little sense without it. | ||
