This is an exciting and thoroughly enjoyable remake of the 1969 version. It is mainly about a man who stole gold from them and the rest of the group get together to seek revenge on him. It is an action packed film where the tasks are done smoothly and with precision. The excellent plot, great cast and clever scriptwriting keep enthralled throughout the film. The film is not only great but had many funny scenes in it. Seth Green gave a superb comedy role. All in all I loved it.

Youre only supposed to blow the bloody doors off!
The Italian Job is a great film that everyone should see at some point in their life. Michael Caine is the epitome of 1960s organised crime cool, with the film a constant reminder of just how fashionable England used to be. It may just be one long advert for minis, but it doesnt stop it being a good piece of work. Always enjoyable with a great soundtrack and immortal lines.

Extras: Compared to other DVDs, this single disk doesnt really have that many extras, but whats there isnt bad. Bearing in mind that the film was made 35 years ago, and the director died at 41, its also not surprising the commentary and interviews dont involve him, and what is there involves quite a few old men. The Making of is interesting to watch, and the deleted scene of minis and police cars waltzing is inspired. All good clean fun.
